Rescuers on Malaysia’s highest mountain were searching on Saturday
for eight climbers missing during a magnitude-5.9 earthquake that sent
rocks and boulders raining down on trekking routes. Eleven others were
killed and 20 injured.
The quake on Friday happened north-west of Ranau district in Sabah state on Borneo island.
